The THERMO-DIVE™ diver heating system is designed to provide warm water to multiple divers in a cold water environment.  The unit extracts energy from a cold water supply and concentrates this to provide a hot water stream to the diver(s).

 The THERMO-DIVE™ is equipped with a submersible supply pump for providing a continuous stream of process water for the system.  After the water has entered the system a portion of the stream is pulled through a filter and heated for delivery to the diver(s).  The remaining process stream returns to the body of water at a lower temperature after a portion of its energy is extracted.  This results in an extremely efficient low energy system that delivers water at the perfect temperature range that a diver requires.  With a push of a button, the THERMO-DIVE™ electric diver hot water heater sends warm water to multiple divers within 2 to 3 minutes, saving precious start-up time wasted by other heater systems that require time to heat up a vessel of water.

The THERMO-DIVE™ is designed for both inland diving as well as off-shore applications. The THERMO-DIVE unit is perfect for zoos and aquariums.  Since it returns colder water back to the tank/pool, there is essentially no net change in temperature to critical aquatic environments where extended diving must occur.

THERMO-DIVE™  ADVANTAGES

LOWER OPERATION COSTS:  THERMO-DIVE™ requires approximately 80% less power than comparable electric units, that translates into huge money savings.  Power is precious especially on a vessel at sea.  Other comparative all-electric units require 125 amps to perform the same task THERMO-DIVE™ does with 20 amps.  This saves significant money and frees up power for the remaining critical processes.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY:  THERMO-DIVE™ units are all-electric, requiring no fuel over water.  Since it uses up to 80% less energy, these are green energy units in the best possible way.

SAFE TO OPERATE:  THERMO-DIVE™ removes the hazards associated with direct fired and fuel fired units because it requires no fuel or open flame to produce heat.  Because of this it can also be safely used in an indoor or closed environment - No external oxygen source or fume venting is required.  Designed with numerous safety features including a diver anti-scald automatic shut-down and dump system.  On top of the built in safety features, the unique design of the THERMO-DIVE™ system makes it essentially impossible for hot water output to reach temperatures that can instantly scald a diver.

WORKS FAST:  The THERMO-DIVE™ system is based on a continuous, instant supply of diver hot water.  THERMO-DIVE™ is up and running from an initial cold status to a stable and operating hot water temperature setpoint around 5 minutes.  There are no tanks associated with the system.  It is essentially an "instant" hot water heater without power-hungry electric elements and their potential to scald.  The THERMO-DIVE™ does not require extended pre-heating, tank filling or tank draining.

EASY TO OPERATE:  A fully operational display and control panel is located in the attached remote control which allows the operator to set the THERMO-DIVE™ to their desired delivery temperature.  Once this is accomplished, little to no interaction is needed required by the operator.

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION:  Designed for both freshwater and saltwater applications.  Piping is a combination of Copper Nickel, Brass and 316 Stainless Steel.

LONG LIFE AND LOW MAINTENANCE:  Internal components of the THERMO-DIVE™ do not promote hard water scaling or crystallization of seawater since they do not reach high temperatures that evaporate water and promote these issues.  The THERMO-DIVE™ heat transfer method insures a smooth, even highly efficient heat transfer to the diver hot water.  This process increases the life of the heat exchangers by years.  The THERMO-DIVE™ system has zero electric heating elements so costly periodic replacement is not necessary.  Routine maintenance is reduced to simply flushing the unit with fresh water after use and opening the drain valves to drain the water retained in the heat exchangers, piping, pumps and valves.
